First Closet Child order

Hello there :)

After an eventful Sunday with a lot of public transportation (me and my friends went to a lolita meet-up), I felt like having a laid back Monday.
In the past I have ordered from several online stores located in Japan, China or South Korea but never from the popular Closet Child....up untill now! :)

Ordering Process:

It's very simple when using their shopping cart. The site explains the process for international orders step-by-step in english with pictures here.
The screenshots are a bit out-dated but still serve their purpose. :)

To quickly describe the procedure, after you submit your order, an automatic e-mail (in japanese) will be sent to the e-mail account you listed in the form.
From then on it's time to wait for their staff to make sure the items are still in stock. A second e-mail will then be sent to you asking you to confirm the order.
This took 5 days for me. Usually it takes 2-3 business days for them to contect you, but if it takes a bit longer don't worry. ^^

If you confirmed your order, you'll receive a paypal invoice.
I had paied right away (Monday) and the package was sent with EMS on Tuesday. 6 days later the package arrived.

The Goodies:

A bracelet with a pink cameo

A long lightweighted necklace. You can open and close the locket :)

A "dimensional" violet Ring <3

Offwhite fake fur collar

Aaand, last but not least what got me to order in the first place:

Baby, the Stars Shine bright's "Little Cat Bouquet Print Rich Ribbon JSK" (gawd, what a...charming name) in mint.

The heart buttons are adorable <3

I've been quite concious when it comes to the color mint. I find it can look pretty on others but wasn't sure if it would suit me. That made me buy a H&M dress in a similar color last with matching H&M hair clip roses last summer just to "test" how I'd like the color. I can never tell if a color "suits" me honestly, but I really enjoyed wearing something different and combining it with black or pink.
Sooooo...since Spring is hopefully around the corner, I thought it was time to get my first lolita item in mint <3 It's always such a pain when you add a new color to your wardrobe, you know, having to buy matching accessoires and blah xD
But nevertheless, I can't wait for the weather to lighten up and wear it out!

Closet Child's service got me hooked, they will definitely hear from me again. I can only recommend you to check out their site if you haven't yet :)
Just buy more accessoires than I did, they're damn cheap ;)

Thank you for your time!
Have an enchanting week~

And you are...?

I'm daring it: As with this post I'm jumping on the "blogging bandwagon!"

With slight insecurities, I suppose it would be appropriate to indroduce myself and lay out the plans I have in store for this blog...assuming there ARE any ;)

Firstly, I'm a 20-year old engineering student in the 2nd semester who is striving to become an animator.
Secondly, when it comes to clothing, I've fallen for lolita fashion roughly 4 years ago and have been integrating it in my daily life ever since. But in general anything that is elegant/frilly/lacey/girly,... can easily make me swoon :)
Thridly,  another huge pasion of mine is drawing and painting.  Copic sketch+ciao markers, colored+mechanical pencils and watercolors are my favorite weapons of choice. Here is my main drawing page on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Acoony

So far I tend on posting random stuff about the last two points listed. Hauls, sketches, photos, reviews and whatnot with rambling in between, you know ;) Please excuse my english and typos, my writing has become veeeerrry rusty >.<

I get a lot of inspiration and happy thoughts through other blogs, from friends and strangers alike. So hopefully this will also be somewhat interesting to you. :)

Thank you for reading,
have a lovely day!
